Our summer camp is a 10-week program, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, for children who have completed Kindergarten through the age of 12. A total of 3-4 teachers lead small groups through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities. Our program is full of adventurous trips and many learning experiences that many children would not normally experience. Our campers create unique art for our annual art show, tie dye t-shirts, create a talent show or music program, and practice cooking.
Our campers leave the center daily. Once a week, our groups go on an out-of- town trip. These trips may include a zoo, caves, COSI, Akron fossil, Amish country, museums, farms and much more! Our campers also visit local parks and our church-owned Blackfork Retreat Center located on St. Rt. 603 where they can explore nature, participate in sports games, have cooking experiences, and participate in arts and crafts. A certified bus driver transports our campers on our church bus. We can accommodate up to 50 children. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and begins in February. If you would like more information on registration or the activities, contact the office.
